The Ukrainian Recovery Conference (URC) serves as a key international platform for intergovernmental dialogue and large-scale recovery initiatives. It primarily focuses on the participation of state actors, international organizations, and major corporate stakeholders.
However, to ensure inclusive and sustainable recovery, it is essential to also integrate small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) into the process. The Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI), as the voice of business in Ukraine, plays a key role in representing SMEs and enabling their access to recovery-related opportunities.
This side event is designed to empower Ukrainian businesses, especially SMEs, by facilitating access to critical information, international networks, and cooperation instruments.
Objectives
To provide Ukrainian companies with access to information on donor programs, investment instruments, and international cooperation opportunities
To foster direct interaction between Ukrainian and international companies through B2B matchmaking and networking
To highlight real-world recovery projects and enable the signing of MoUs between Ukrainian and foreign stakeholders
Strategic Context
This side event is requested to be officially positioned “On the Road to URC 2025” and contributes to the broader effort of inclusive recovery. The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine will be invited to participate.
The event will serve as a launchpad for new business partnerships, an entry point for SMEs into international recovery efforts, and a symbol of European-private sector solidarity with Ukraine’s rebuilding process.
