Ahead of the URC 2025 in Rome on 10–11 July, this networking meeting aims to reflect on the Alliance’s first year, strengthen collaboration, expand membership, and advance joint strategies for a gender-responsive and inclusive recovery of Ukraine. The event is prepared in synergy with the panel session at the URC main conference (July 12) on gender in recovery.
Objectives
Strengthen Collaboration: Foster dialogue among participants
Advance the WPS Agenda: Discuss the integration of Women, Peace, and Security principles into Ukraine’s recovery, with a focus on women’s meaningful participation in decision-making at all levels (Strategic Goal 2 of the Gender Alliance)
Expand Membership: Attract new partners to enhance the Alliance’s impact
Facilitate Networking: Provide a platform for stakeholders to build partnerships, share best practices, and provide space for coordination of actions for the URC 2025
