Villa Medici and Martin Duplantier initiate an evening dedicated to the vital role of heritage in reconstruction. This special side event on July 8 will bring together voices from Italy, France, and Ukraine to explore how cultural and architectural heritage can guide the rebuilding of cities, communities, and identities in times of recovery.

Set in the historic surroundings of Villa Medici during Le Festival des cabanes, this evening will feature a public talk, fostering dialogue on how to preserve, reinterpret, and integrate heritage into contemporary reconstruction efforts. Experts in architecture, urbanism, and cultural preservation will share insights on safeguarding what remains while shaping a sustainable future grounded in history.

This event aims to strengthen ties between France, Italy, and Ukraine, highlighting the power of heritage as a foundation for resilience, identity, and renewal.
