Local Self-Government Round Table

Cooperation of local self-governments and local civil society – the key to effective recovery of territorial communities

The objective of the round table is to launch the discourse on the need of collaboration of the local self-governments, civil society and the Government of Ukraine in rebuilding and recovery of Ukrainian communities affected by the war. One of the focuses of the discussion will be role and potential of the associations of local-self-government in the recovery process. In the course of the event participant will discuss how the synergy of all actors can facilitate the recovery process and make more effective.

The round table will bring together Members of the Parliament, Ukrainian civil society representatives, Ukrainian officials, mayors, local community leaders, leaders of Ukrainian associations of local self-government to discuss their potential contribution to the post-war recovery, of Ukraine.

The event will be conducted on 4 July 2022, 11:15 –13:00 (CEST) in the premises of SUPSI (University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland): Via Soldino 9, CH-6900 Lugano, Switzerland.
